Hi All ~
Been playing for a few weeks now (Cactuar server) and so far I don't see any invites. Is that normal? Or am I just on an anti-social server?
Thx ~

Hi Ravenblade ~
Is it considered rude to SHOUT in general chat?
Reseatch different Free Companies on the Lodestone website, uusing the search feature. Filter according to your tastes. Select one, then look where their FC house is. Go to the house and use the Placard outside it to apply.
Hi SailorCeti ~
I just logged in to that Lodestone website and selected a FC that looks promising.
TY for the advice!
The Lodestone site worked perfectly! I went online, browsed the FC's on my server, selected a FC that caught my eye (The Tabard Company) and the next time I logged in to the game I got an immediate invite.
They're a great bunch of guys and gals and super helpful, so TYVM for that great advice!

Alternatively, you can search the server section on this forum (in your case, Excalibur and Cactuar ) and see what FCs are currently recruiting (especially ones new player focused) and make contact from there.
You can also form your own if you know a few others willing to join (you need three people at the start to form a Free Company).
Hi again, Endidoh ~
I'm going to give that suggestion a try.
Bye for now and TY again.

Turns out that the Lodestone site worked for me. Am now with a friendly and helpful FC.
Love the Forums as well!
Shout is actually a chat that will appear for anyone within that zone. So using /sh in a city means everyone in the city will see it.
And nope, it's not rude at all. Most the time it's just ads in shout chat anyways.
