Hi All ~
Been playing for a few weeks now (Cactuar server) and so far I don't see any invites. Is that normal? Or am I just on an anti-social server?
Thx ~

Reseatch different Free Companies on the Lodestone website, uusing the search feature. Filter according to your tastes. Select one, then look where their FC house is. Go to the house and use the Placard outside it to apply.
Alternatively, you can search the server section on this forum (in your case, Excalibur and Cactuar ) and see what FCs are currently recruiting (especially ones new player focused) and make contact from there.
You can also form your own if you know a few others willing to join (you need three people at the start to form a Free Company).
Hi Ravenblade ~
Is it considered rude to SHOUT in general chat?
Shout is actually a chat that will appear for anyone within that zone. So using /sh in a city means everyone in the city will see it.
And nope, it's not rude at all. Most the time it's just ads in shout chat anyways.
Hi SailorCeti ~
I just logged in to that Lodestone website and selected a FC that looks promising.
TY for the advice!
TY, Thurm.....
I'll try that in Grindania and see what pops up.
Ciao for now.
Hi again, Endidoh ~
I'm going to give that suggestion a try.
Bye for now and TY again.

A lot of FCs actually recruit on the Community Finder website now. They don't hardly post in those forums, and the FC list includes inactive FCs, so the Community Finder was designed to just show the active ones and many FCs maintain a listing.

You can post on them if you login to the lodestone.
