Dualsense edge

So I've seen a lot of posts about this, but ffxiv doesn't seem to have native dualsense edge support, i plug my edge in, it works when i want to move my character, and the camera but my buttons are constantly messed up. The in game calibration tool doesn't work either, which has me , please help. ( unrelated note it also reads my fight stick over my dualsense edge )

Yeah I wanted to buy an edge controller for this but I’ll just wait until it’s implemented better.

We apologize for the issue with regards to the PlayStation 5 DualSense Edge controller not properly mapping in Final Fantasy XIV. Just to gather more information, is the controller fully synced via Bluetooth or wired cable? Has any other controller given you a problem for Final Fantasy XIV? We would also like to ask if you are able to fully update the drivers for the controller in question? Lastly, have you tried recalibrating or adjusting the controller via Windows settings as well?

Hello, I am able to offer real assistance on this since I was able to find the core reason to the mapping issues with the dualsense edge controller.

In essence, the config file is not properly mapped to the dualsense edge's extra buttons. The reddit guide will tell you what you need to swap and how to do it. If you do need further assistance, I am happy to help you myself if needed.
