Won't let me log in

When I was last playing a few days ago before the update, everything was working fine. But after a couple days break, I come back and it won't let me log in with the "This service account does not have a valid FINAL FANTASY XIV License" nonsense. I checked the account status and it says still 13 days left in my paid subscription. I added another month, and it still says it when I tried logging in. Then I tried reinstalling it, and it is now detecting me on a MAC!?!? Saying I need to buy a MAC version? I have a windows steam account for FF14, and it was working fine before.

Note: I installed the steam app and the game on my Linux PC after ditching windows a few months ago. Did the last FF14 update boot out Linux users or something?
Is it the steam app being detected as the MAC version when I'm on Linux? And before anyone says that square enix doesn't deal with linux issues, the issue came from their update. They're responsible for their updates.
