I'm not seeing the toggle for this. Maybe they pushed the launcher update after your post? In any case, the dx9 game executable was deleted so the game would not run in dx9 anyway.

Yeah, nvm I think I was early. Toggle is gone and DX9 has died.

There's one person with a stupid old PC or some really weird/niche use case that is mega upset about this, maybe even cancelled their subscription. I remember the WoW forums when Blizzard killed Windows XP, Windows 7, DirectX 9 and 32-bit support... always that one person.

Fixes and adjustments made after content patches. They're not meant to be content patches. Sounded like this one had some infrastructure things in, too.

90 seconds? That's a minute and a half. It took me between 1 and 2 seconds to download. I'm not trying to shame you or anything, but you might want to look at upgrading your bandwidth if possible.

To download 500MB in 2 seconds would require a bandwidth of approximately 2.5GBit/s. Very, very, few if any ISPs anywhere even offer that kind of bandwidth. 500MB in 90 seconds corresponds to an effective bandwidth of about 50Mbit/s which is far more normal, and while not great is quite sufficient for most people.
