Just recently got into chocobo racing at the Gold Saucer, and I couldn't help but notice that the queue to get into a race there was forced to pop after 30 seconds. Very much appreciated for the 90% of the time that I go without matching up with other player characters.
That has me asking, however: why is Delubrum Reginae's forced pop still at a whopping 10 minutes?
I like running Delubrum Reginae every once in a blue moon, and I enjoy it every time I do. But part of the reason why I run it so rarely is that 10 minute wait between queue'ing for it, and actually starting it. And running it multiple times back to back is a pipe dream, especially when it comes to keeping the same party around for multiple runs. It's honestly a big ask of anyone, and whenever I do partake in PFs trying to get through Delubrum, they have never done more than one run.
I get that the 10 minutes gives ample time for people that happen to queue at around the same time to join up, but in all this time since they added the 10 minute forced pop, I have never seen other parties join up for it by coincidence. So whoever is in the PF group is all I've ever seen for it.
I'm also sure that it's there for people unlocking it for the first time, but my guess is that, unless new players know better than to queue alone, after 10 minutes of waiting they're probably getting dropped in alone with a crazy Echo buff and no knowledge on what to expect. If anyone who has attempted Delubrum for the first time can say otherwise, I'd like to know, genuinely curious.
So my suggestion: please trim the lengthy 10-minute Delubrum Reginae forced pop to something more reasonable, either down to 30 seconds ala chocobo racing, or even just 1 minute is fine too. I like me a grind, but such a lengthy wait time between runs shouldn't have to be part of the grind as well, especially since that wasn't really the case back when the content was relevent. At least, not until Shadowbringers was winding down.
Any yay, nay?
