That said, skirmishes will be based in LL, along with PvP. So there's that. I'll have much more importance come 2.0. Which is cool, the city looks nice, it just has an awful layout at the moment, and I understand why they never put anything there.

Where did you get that Pvp is going to be "based" in LL? I'm pretty sure there's going to be more than one place for PvP events, and I don't really recall any specific place being specified as of yet.

Skirmish was designed for people who can't/didn't beat Garuda. Making it dead on arrival.

What makes you say that? a LOT of people haven't been able to beat garuda. It's not a walk in the park and you need to be well geared If anything, there will be less people doing garuda because there will be an easier alternative.

That being said, I'd wish they'd give some more attention to gear categories with less variety, like DOH/DOL secondary tools, many types of armor, earrings, and more. Then there's that "pack" slot that still has a grand total of 0 items that can be placed in it.
