    Launcher security alert.

When I start the launcher, I get two pop-ups, both saying:
    Security Alert
Revocation information for the security certificate for this site is not available Do you want to proceed?
If I click Yes 3 times, the launcher comes up and I can log in, but I get the same warning 3 more times after entering the password and authenticator info.
I didn't get the error yesterday, and have made no changes on the system.

    This is in Windows 10.

    Greetings SamSmoot,

We apologize for any inconvenience experienced when trying to play Final Fantasy XIV. The issue you are describing is most associated with interference with the game data. It can be a result from certain security/privacy changes on Microsoft Edge. Other times, it occurs when an application running in the background causes interference, such as anti-virus software, firewalls, media players, web browsers, communications software, etc.

    - Please make sure all background applications (including anti-virus programs such as Norton, Kaspersky, Windows Defender, etc.) have FFXIV whitelisted or temporarily disabled and/or closed to minimize game interference before attempting to log in.

    - Within Microsoft Edge, click the "Settings" option on the top right of the browser (under the three dots shown) and go to "Privacy, Search and Services" and go to the "Tracking Prevention" section. Make sure it is turned on and select the "Balanced" option.

Additionally, if any settings have been changed overall, it is best to keep things at default which you can perform manually by using the "Reset Settings" option under the "Settings" tab. Lastly, please ensure that Microsoft Edge is up to date by using the "Settings" > "About Microsoft Edge" option near the bottom left.

If the suggestions provided above do not resolve the issue, please reply back with the following:

    - Platform (PC, Steam):
    - Type of connection (wired or wireless):
    - Other programs running while the game is playing (if any)
    - Frequency at which error occurs:
    - Any other steps taken to resolve the issue:

We do look forward to hearing back from you so we can assist with the issue accordingly.

Updated MS Edge, and defaulted it's settings (I use Firefox primarily).
    Disabled Malwarebytes (free version).
No other stuff is running Problem first noticed on 3/11 after a Windows update and shutdown overnight. (Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2)

    Platform: PC
    Connection: Wired ethernet
Nothing else running other than the usual startup items I've been running for well over a year. Checked task manager for anything unusual, noticed nothing new.
Occurs every time I start the launcher. I have to clear the security alert SIX times by clicking Yes before I can enter login data.
    I did a View Certificate.
    Issued to: *.ffxiv.com
Issued by: GeoTrust TLS RSA CA GI
    Valid from: 12/3/2023 to 12/3/2025
I reinstalled the certificate for Current user.
    Rebooting system...
    Still have the error.

Backed up my settings, doing a file restore (Why is this game still missing a file check / repair tool?).

Restored files, problem is still present. I can play the game, but it takes six extra clicks every time I log in (I guess the fix is to never log off like I usually do when not playing.
Edit: I also ran a repair on MS Edge, which appears to reinstall it. No change. Also made sure any Edge extensions were removed or disabled.

    FIXED!
It was my PiHole ad domain blocker. It was blocking "mobile.events.data.microsoft.com" and "edge,microsoft.com" when the launcher was started.

I temporarily disabled blocking, and that resolved the problem, even after I enabled it again. I assume it let Edge retrieve the revocation data, which made it happy.
I whitelisted both domains to prevent it from happening again in the future.

Thanks for the assistance. (Didn't know Edge was involved..)
