Hope you like 4 abilities, kid.

Roulettes are so drawn to the ARR content that I don't even do them anymore lol. They really really need to refocus on making most of the core kit available by 50, or failing that find some way to make downsyncing not feel so god-awful. Because it's not just a healer problem like that other dude suggested. Depending on how far back you go, some dps jobs won't even have an aoe ability until like 40something, and one of the main reasons I hate crystal tower and a lot of hw stuff as well in 2024 is because from 0-60 most of my favorite jobs are lacking really basic things that make them feel good to play.

Nope. Literally started the game a week ago. Your judgment of character is uncanny. Are you a fortune teller as well?
4 abilities is still twice as many as max lv healer![]()
The last time an electrician came to our house to fix something, they used one or two tools at a time, rather than everything in their pouch. The point is, you aren't supposed, or expected, to use every single ability you have with every encounter. You have your core rotation, some buffs, some debuffs, some niche utilities, and the rest are mostly circumstantial. While it's true that in some instances, you can pull off a fight using only a small subset of your abilities, but you're exaggerating things by a landslide. I could be wrong, but I get the feeling you've fixed on this idea and just want to complain. I suppose that's fair. We all need to vent every once in a while. Just relax and try to wrap your head around the concept of a toolbox containing things for many applications, despite not needing all of them with every job. Breath, then let it go and enjoy the game. If you cannot do that, there are other games you can try. It's like complaining about McDonalds chicken sandwiches when you can just go to another chain and get one you do like.
