My only gripe is that if there was no latency, then people with intermediate skills may have a chance at this if there was no lag. By that I mean people who have done their research/ are well educated on the fight and have fought other primals prior to. As the post above clearly indicates, only well organized hardcore players who run the instance dozens of times using a voice chat client have a chance. Unless you play alllllll the fudging time, it's reallllly hard to come by a functional party (unless you are lucky and have lots of friends in good endgame shells). I spent a week getting a static party together for this, between people not showing up and the lag (you have to admit, survival post aerial blast is pretty much a roll of the dice), it's pretty much a nightmare. I think the biggest salt in the wound is gear degradation though. Going from 100% on all equipment to 20% in 3 hours isn't a good feeling (especially when you made the mistake of having a separate character for crafting).

Maybe the problem is that you don't realize that the content isn't meant to be easy enough for intermediate/low level players to be able to beat.My only gripe is that if there was no latency, then people with intermediate skills may have a chance at this if there was no lag. Survival at any point in the fight is absolutely not a 'roll of the dice', unless you have terrible healers/tanks. Also, although lag obviously exists in the game, lag has minuscule to no effect on performance in the instance.

This. I tried tanking on Garuda without any experience with the mechanics after 2H and I wiped the pt several times. Someone else tanks who knows what to do and we win pretty easily.Maybe the problem is that you don't realize that the content isn't meant to be easy enough for intermediate/low level players to be able to beat.

(Not saying I'm a bad tank, just didn't know the Garuda fight that well.)
We've won. Even after Post-WAR nerf.
Also, I'm okay with this.only well organized hardcore players who run the instance dozens of times using a voice chat client have a chance.
Meh, I'm not saying the content is too hard, I'm saying the content is broken due to the lag. Anyways lol I'm tired of being called a noob, you may not be calling me one directly but you guys sure are good at implying it. <3 this community lol.

You've basically been asserting that yourself.
We get it, there's a problem with lag and latency. It's even worse for Europeans, because they LOVE to remind us how much worse they have it (which they do). But the problem is so integrated to game itself, and it's nearly pointless to fix it now since they're going to fix it in 2.0 (tl;dr wait for it).
But also, part of being skillful is accommodating for things out of your control. My main white mage has played on a 3g connection, and we've come out victorious.
As said before, there are very obvious patterns and locations in the zone that can be used as markers to react to certain situations. Learn to read those, and you can come out on top. If you're doing it right, no one should be getting killed by Shriek, plumes, etc.
The only thing that may or may not be due to luck, is having Suparna and Chirada spawn on you 3 times in a row. That just sucks.
Got my first wins last Saturday, it just takes perseverance, dedication and a willingness to improve.
