    If you're not the spawner, then you shouldn't be complaining about hunt sharing. You wouldn't get to participate if it weren't for the fact others were trying to share the information with you.

    Also, the Hunt isn't designed to accommodate world hopping because world hopping didn't exist when it was created. They haven't changed it to accommodate world hopping because they don't want players world hopping for hunts. They want players to be doing the hunts on the worlds they are currently playing on. Those mount achievements are intended to be done over the length of an expansion by those who use hunts as their primary end game.

    If you want to world hop to speed up how quickly you complete the achievement, accept that you do so at the risk of not getting there in time.

    Players are right there because they're the ones that spawned it, were already in the zone when it spawned or share linkshells with those who did. Contrary to popular belief, there is open world content and there are players who do that content. There have been numerous occasions I've been in a zone when something was spawned even though I was there for other reasons.

    If you're relying on linkshells and show up after it dies, you're in bad linkshells. See if you can get into better ones. If you're using the Discord mobile app, make certain you aren't on a power saver mode that delays notifications.

    People way overestimate how long it takes to get to a S rank. Most can be reached within one minute. The longest it will take is 3 minutes. How do I know? I've timed how long it takes to fly to the most awkward spawn points from the nearest teleport.

    It's hard to be sympathetic to those who complain that they arrived to a kill one minute late when some of us have already spent an hour or more in the zone trying to get the S rank to spawn in the first place and we're going to have to repeat it for the next spawn.

    They don't intend for every player to get the hunt achievements. They intend those who are willing to put in the effort over time (as in months/years, not days/weeks) to get them.

    You don't have to spawn everything yourself. Spawners share information with each other about what they're trying to spawn so people aren't duplicating efforts or to team up to make some spawns easier.

    I think they're fine with the S ranks, other than players thinking they should be able to get to every one on every world.

    What they don't like are the Rank A trains.

    Then... about time to update that design of the Hunt to accomodate for world hopping, because this is way people are playing the game right now?

    Because the loophole (world hopping) is still there. People are using it for years already. And it is not part of the game design, when the player with better conneciton or plugins or, how you put it, "better" linkshells can get their achievement faster than other, while both did not participated in the spawn.

    yeah they don't like A rank trains because it trivializes the tomestone grind and lets people rapidly max gear compared to other means. This is especially true when people can chain them across servers. But to be fair, they have too many grinds in the game at end game so if people are using hunt trains as a substitute for the duty finder, I'm all for it.

    If they would expand expert roulette to have more than two dungeons and update the rewards to the rest of the roulettes then they would be worth doing. Til they do something about it hunts are way to go

    I spawn myself and it is NOT enough. FYI- Spawns are not guaranteed. You can meet the requirement and be in the window and it still will not spawn. Not sure if you are aware of that. It is something you CANNOT control. YES, I CAN complain if that is the case.

    Of course I'm aware they're not guaranteed to spawn. I've done my share of sitting around a couple of extra hours for Lamp, Wulgaru, Theda and Zona after their windows capped waiting for RNG to finally trigger. I've done my share of Ixtab/Rumi/Sphat spawns where the window is at 10/25/40/60/85, even 98% just to come up empty handed and so have to give them another try. All those hundreds of thousands of gil spent on Wyvernskin maps just to have to assume that someone got the spawn early in the window because the 8 Hinterlands maps (out of 50 maps attempted) you and your fellow spawners came up with at 120% still didn't spawn it, same with Agrippa and poetics for Mysterious Maps.

    Complain if you want but you know going in that the spawns are not guaranteed once the window opens , frequently aren't guaranteed even after the window caps, and SE isn't interested in making them guaranteed. It was your choice to make the attempt.

    That is part of the Hunt - the chance that you won't catch it, or someone else got it before you. We joke and complain among ourselves while we're out spawning yet we're all going to be right back at it because that uncertainty factor is part of what makes the Hunt interesting and fun. For us, it's not just a loot piñata that so many others see it as because we're out there doing the work instead of waiting others to do it like most of the community.

    Before you say anything about "well it doesn't matter it will respawn" as a rebuttal, that is a completely different thing. It's "Oh I can't get to this sadly" vs "I tried getting to this but it was killed early", the intention to go was there, and they lose out on time and the S rank.

    Idk the original poster is right hunts need to be adjusted because this is a subset of content in the game that is extremely active always, and should be enjoyable to everyone. Not just me. I'd be unhappy if I got the S Rank but 50-100 people didn't. I want as many people to get a chance to participate and gain together.
    Here's the difference - if I miss out on a S rank because I'm in the middle of spawning a different one, I don't complain about it. There will always be more S ranks getting spawned. I don't care if I'm getting my achievements completed 6 months after others have them done. It is not a speed race. It is not a competition.

    So can it yourself. You're acting entitled.

    Your problem on Primal is Faloop. Flat out. It is making up its own rules and trying to pretend the entire community is supposed to follow those rules when that is 100% false. It is SE's game and they make the rules. There are players out there hunting by SE's rules then the Faloop people get pissy because someone dared not to submit to Faloop's assumed but non-existent authority.

    The hunt community has been there all along. Those that were part of it prior to Shadowbringers understand that if you wanted to be part of a kill, you dropped what you were doing and you got there as soon as possible so you wouldn't miss out. Most of the time, everyone got their just fine to participate.

    It's only in the last 2 expansions that we're started seeing all this massive entitlement from players who want rewards for no effort because streamers started talking about what a great source of rewards the Hunt is. All of a sudden the Hunt has turned into "everyone else is supposed to stand around twiddling their thumbs for 10 minutes because I can't be bothered to stop what I'm doing" or "everyone has to wait for me because I was on a different world".

    No. That extra 10 minutes represents 1,000 minutes or more of wasted game time (depending on how many showed up) for the sake of the one or two individuals who think they are special and that everyone is supposed to wait on them.

    We've all got other things we want to be doing, whether it's hitting up a roulette, raiding with friends or spawning the next S rank. If it's taking you more than 3 minutes to get to a S rank after it is spawned, there is something wrong on your end. You need to figure out what that is and fix it if you expect to make it to more spawns.

    You can't get everything you want. The Hunt was not designed to accommodate everyone every time, nor can it be. Server stability is an issue when too many players descend on the same zone not to mention the latency and FPS issues that many will end up experiencing.

    You make it to some, you miss others. That's the way it's always been. That's the way it will always be.

    That is the Hunt.

    Who is deeming them poachers?

    If I'm out scouting and run into a group killing one of the hunts, I'll let them know I'm scouting, when I expect to start the train if they want to join it and then wish them good luck with the kill, have fun and move on. Once I finish scouting, I'll go back to see if they killed it and then update trackers if they did. That's it.

    Maybe they need to log off before the train starts and want to at least get one kill in. Maybe they aren't aware that there is a hunt community that organizes trains. Maybe entitled people in the hunt community have harassed them in the past and they want nothing to do with it as a result. They aren't poachers. They have just as much right to kill the hunt as anyone else.

    I'm not going to harass someone for playing the game as SE intended and within SE's rules. They found it first, they attacked it and they will most likely kill it. They have done nothing wrong.

    I've been the spawner and missed out. I once spent an hour killing mobs at the end of a window and when it spawned in, I didn't know where in the zone it had spawned in. But someone else had found it and pulled it, and a group of people got to it before I could.

    Honestly, I'd just like it if when an S rank spawned in, there was like a... few minute period where it was invulnerable. Just to let people get to it. I can understand someone not wanting to wait around for 15 minutes for everyone else on the server to finish up what they're doing and getting over to the mark, but at the same time when a mark can die before the person that actually worked on spawning it can get to it, something seems wrong.

    Perhaps then they should change it so that only Marks killed on your own home world server count?

    I love the Hunt Trains! The fact that the players took a piece of content from the game and turned it into an entire community event is amazing.
