This idea just popped to mind... if they don't want to add races then what if we got special holiday event materia that you could meld to a belt or hat that became different tail/ears?
It needs to fully swap out too.. so if Miqote made a fox tail belt, the regular tail wouldn't be coming out of it like on the reindeer costumes XD

Yeah I agree They could maybe let us slightly alter the ears like they do the tail..just a little bit more so. That way we could have ears that kinda resemble wolves, fox, or the more traditional cat..hehe and that way not everyone will look the same

The one thing I really like about this game (and XI) is that I could actually picture RL people looking like the characters we play. I usually like the anime type look but I think SE did a very nice job making these races look very realistic.

How many people have asked for a tail?
If they added jump, they can add a damn tail to a Roeg via a different tribe.
I still stand by that via tribes we can get tall Miqo with bunny ears, and Roegs with tails, if people would have just supported it instead of VEIRA VEIRA VEIRA
But anyways~

There might be if people would just support alternate tribes for current races instead of VIERA VIERA VIERA

Edit: All things considered, a lot of the things people want could have potential to be in the game if they just supported the new tribes option on the poll..
We could get a variant of taller Miqotes with bunny tails and bunny ears instead.
Furry Lalafells with long ears. (Moogles from FF12 and Lalafell are built rather identically..)
Roegs with tails.
Burmecian and Bangaa are really the only ones that Require a new race.

I like this idea, I want fox ears..I've always liked fox girls more then cat girls (<3 holo!) but I doubt they will do this You never know though!
