Yea I dont think the logic holds up in practice. Especially now since the heavy bleed raidwides have been mostly missing from the last savage tier but the heals are still on those two abilities.
God I would love more of this but the general playerbase would whine its too hard lol. Like a good example would be TG in the ivalice alliance raids. OG that fight was amazing then too much whining happened so they nerfed a aspect of it because players couldn't be bothered to do the mechanic right or even pay attention.I could write an essay on this, but the title says it all already: this finale mechanic in P10S felt such a breath of fresh air after spending our time playing DDR and solving mechanics (especially finicky crap like Bonds 3). It felt great for the simple reason that it was not just solving mechanics, it was actually about surviving, using our kits to get through something that truly felt threatening.
We need more of this, not less.
Even the storymode version was crazy good to have in that mode, especially at release. It's actually cool on normal modes as well for the very reason that it's challenging at release, but eventually gets more manageable for people trying to catch up at later points in the game story.
I love this game but been generally disappointed at how easy the normal content has been. I keep hoping they ramp up the difficulty outside of savages, ultimates and criterion but will never happened. Game is geared for casuals who put in so little effort it's noticeable

TG Cid is still a good fight at least, and it holds up better than Ozma (that also got nerfed for the same reasons) to the general powercreep introduced by the battle system changes (there is a reason everything melts in anything before ShB) and systematic potency increases.
I think everybody goes through P10N fine. But maybe I'm wrong? I don't doubt that some people struggle, but I've seen people struggling literally in post endgame dungeons with the most basic mechanics, and I actually hate when people try to gatekeep them out of the game or play elitist with them. It's super rare but I've had dungeon runs that turned to wipe after wipe because of one or two players that are just struggling, and that's totally fine. I probably suck at things in real life or other things that they actually excel at, or maybe they got the big misfortune in life to get a handicap of one sort or another. I'm not here to judge them because I don't know their lives.
Why am I saying that? Because no matter how easy you try to make the content, this will happen at some point. I'm not asking for casual content to be more demanding. I'm just asking for it to be more interesting and leave room for the players that actually want to go beyond the baseline. It used to be more interesting, and again, I don't remember people struggling more than today. Played less perfectly? Maybe yeah, but we went through content all the same.

Yeah, l actually wiped twice on story mode, then finally realized that l need to pop neutral section and macrocosmos for that. Everyone probably wiped on Harrowing Hell at least once on patch day, I'm sure. Nobody would've thought the dev team would have the guts to implement actual damage into regular content.

I’m one of those players. We did wiped in DF & cleared it in next pull after figuring out the HPS needed.
It’s also one of the few duties where I’m seeing DF tanks seem to be more trigger happy when it comes to using tank LB probably thanks to just how many terrible healers they might’ve been paired with in the past, it’s hilarious to watch.
"Outside obvious jokes/sarcasm, I aim to convey my words to the future readers who may come across mine posts. Can I change -your- mind, somehow? Potentially... but that's not why I'm writing. You and I have wrote our piece(s). We don't necessarily need to change each other's mind. But we can change other's."

Honestly good on those tanks.I’m one of those players. We did wiped in DF & cleared it in next pull after figuring out the HPS needed.

Panhaima or Liturgy. Easy.

Ah yes, two disgustingly overpowered heals that shouldn’t exist and are a solution in search of a problem they had to attempt to balance with the huge amount of weak ahk morn style spells every boss in EW has
Not that either of these is enough for even normal harrowing hell but that’s besides the point
