Is the Windows user account login (either the Windows account or the local machine account) for the PC you are playing the game on one with Administrator privileges?
    • If not, it could be the User Account Controls are restricting the launcher's and game's ability to write to the User folders it's settings, effectively causing those settings to be forgotten each time the launcher and/or game is exited and/or the PC is rebooted. Have the PC administrator lower the User Account Controls or use an administrator level Windows user account.
    • If you are the admin, then it can be the Windows Security settings that are effectively preventing the same as above, especially if Setting>Update & Security>Windows Security>Virus & Threat Protection>Ransomware Protection - Manage ransomware protection>Controlled folder access is turned ON. That setting can cause non-white-listed programs from having write access to the User folders that the launcher and game needs to be able to save settings in. The problem is that Windows can and will "forget" what programs are white-listed (allowed to have access), which then activates the stops for that program, and cause the symptoms you are having.

Another way that you can have these symptoms is if you install the game on a non-OS drive or on a remote or removable drive, as then the launcher and game can have issues "finding" the location of the settings or the local settings no longer match the location of the remote or removable drive.
Always make sure the game is installed on the C drive to prevent any issues related to above.

Another possible cause is if when Windows was installed, it is possible in the set-up for that to assign a non-default location for the User folders. Default is the C:\User folder and sub folders, but one can choose to have it set up on a different local or remote/removable drive. If that has happened, then like above, that location can get forgotten or lost at times, causing your symptoms.

Another related way that can cause the local PC "forgetting" thing, is of you have Windows Sync enabled with another PC or the Microsoft cloud through One Drive or the likes, and then a change is made to the second PC, which effectively causes the first PC to then sync anew, which can "erase" the first PC settings, or the sync process to the cloud storage, then causes Windows to then recover local machine drive space, by erasing the local settings.
To prevent all that, turn off Sync and the cloud.

Lastly, you said "It's not my system", which I take to mean you do not believe that your PC is the blame.
But, if you had meant that "It's not my system" as in you do not own the PC in question, then it could be that whomever has set it up for you to use for the game, did so in such away that each time you log off of that computer, it "resets" the windows account you use (like as if it was a VM or such, basically erasing itself). If that is the case, then yes, the game is basically "removed" each time you stop using that PC.
