Sometimes it's from a poster who makes exactly one post about it blaming a glitch in the system, and never returns to add additional information or to confirm that it was actually their own fault. The poster is not able to describe what their timers menu was showing prior to the loss, because they were not in the habit of checking their timers menu. If the OP's wife was the owner, he is not coming back to admit it. So we're going to have a thread with 20 people spreading rumors of a bug that causes houses to demolish on their own, and no one confirming it was a user error.

Then the next guy who loses their house googles what the heck happened and they find this thread where everyone talks about "the glitch". They start to wonder: it has to be this glitch, right? Wasn't I just recently at my house? And so a new glitch thread is created. That's why you keep seeing these threads.
