House Auto Demo'd when I've entered Recently

This is the 1st email you will get. You have to enter the house & if it was your wife that got the house, it was up to her to walk into the plot. She would have gotten the emails.
Unless it was an FC plot, residents don't reset the timer

My house got demolished a while back with no warning. I was surprised about it but I'm willing to accept that 45 days had run by without me noticing. However, I made sure to comb through my email, even the spam folder, and found absolutely nothing. I found out because it no longer appeared on my teleport list, completely out of the blue.

Seriously regardless of any emails, supposed not warnings and surprises, if you had a house for 45 days and you not even a single time entered on it, i'm sorry but you didn't 't deserve a house
You guys claim you loved it so much but seriously we're talking an entire month without entering

It just feels people want a house more because it's ultra limited at the moment rather than actually use it

I'm sure that this varies from person to person, but in my experience houses generally function as social spaces. You decorate your house in a manner that creates the ambience you want, and when you finish you have a nice place to hang out with your friends.

But when there are content lulls (like there is right now) and your friends take a break, you can end up with nobody to invite over. At which point there's not much activity to be done in your home until your friends return. But when they do, your home will once again serve its purpose.

I understand how you feel, since housing is so limited, however without knowing someone's personal circumstances that really sounds rather harsh. You never know if they were seriously ill, or if there was a serious environmental issue - having been through some serious storms where I had no power for several weeks (albeit that was truly exceptional). I can imagine how I could accidentally lose mine.

Absolutely and i agree, i'm not talking about "Haha looser you lost your house, suck it", anything can happen and that's fine, but understand the situtations you put as well are not the norm but the exception in most cases

But loosing your house and then complaining you did so when you (in the case) absolutely could is just a joke when lots of people at the moment crave for one

I'm not complaining about the demo anywhere, though? Honestly, I'm kinda glad it happened because I'm finally free to unsub and/or go for a Medium instead in the future. It's just annoying that I didn't even get notified that it happened. It was just gone one day.

I've heard people saying they never got an email, I do believe them
I know my bf who 'got me a house' never received any emails- his ff is registered to a junk email and he never deletes the emails there, and combing through the list never received any of these- so I screened my own demolish (i intentionally let my house go) not to disprove anyone of never getting these emails, but to show what it looks like they're *supposed* to get.

Some people have even lost a house even after entering it, but others said "its bc you didnt interact with anything inside" like why does this game have to have such specifics?
Housing shouldn't be as limited in availability as it is; sure if they want to tie it into activity & subscriptions as it currently is then great- but the housing situation still falls short due to shortsightedness.
