House Auto Demo'd when I've entered Recently

I understand how you feel, since housing is so limited, however without knowing someone's personal circumstances that really sounds rather harsh. You never know if they were seriously ill, or if there was a serious environmental issue - having been through some serious storms where I had no power for several weeks (albeit that was truly exceptional). I can imagine how I could accidentally lose mine.

Absolutely and i agree, i'm not talking about "Haha looser you lost your house, suck it", anything can happen and that's fine, but understand the situtations you put as well are not the norm but the exception in most cases

But loosing your house and then complaining you did so when you (in the case) absolutely could is just a joke when lots of people at the moment crave for one

Housing demolition is a stupid thing anyways. If you have a house and a paid subscription, there should be no worries about losing your housing plot.

Auto demolition should only be used for account that have ended their subscription or been banned.

My house got demolished a while back with no warning. I was surprised about it but I'm willing to accept that 45 days had run by without me noticing. However, I made sure to comb through my email, even the spam folder, and found absolutely nothing. I found out because it no longer appeared on my teleport list, completely out of the blue.

I've heard people saying they never got an email, I do believe them
I know my bf who 'got me a house' never received any emails- his ff is registered to a junk email and he never deletes the emails there, and combing through the list never received any of these- so I screened my own demolish (i intentionally let my house go) not to disprove anyone of never getting these emails, but to show what it looks like they're *supposed* to get.

Some people have even lost a house even after entering it, but others said "its bc you didnt interact with anything inside" like why does this game have to have such specifics?
Housing shouldn't be as limited in availability as it is; sure if they want to tie it into activity & subscriptions as it currently is then great- but the housing situation still falls short due to shortsightedness.

So non fc housing. The owner of the plot has to go in to reset the demo timer. If you were just a tenant then you reset nothing.

You need to go inside the house that you own and interact with it, and make sure you are at the right one as well.

There are bugs in the auto demo. I remember way back logged out inside my house then login the next day to find it gone. SE just gives auto help response back and never helps you get lost houses back. All you can do is hope to win another plot in the lottery.

I rarely get emails for my properties. I wouldn't say that part of the process is working properly.e

On the topic of resetting the timer, is it enough if the owner of a private house enters the interior or do they also need to interact with anything specific in their house?

I should check next time one of my rarely used (and less important) properties runs down. But entering and using something (even leaving via the front door) has been the forum advice for a while now.

This is like the fifth thread I've seen on this exact issue. At this point, I'm just inclined to give OP the benefit of the doubt. Bugs happen to the best devs, and it's not like CBU3 are some infallible coding gods who never make mistakes. They tried putting a glam dresser in houses and it bricked the game ffs. You guys really wanna go to bat for these devs when the same bug issue threads keep cropping up?

Or maybe we simply want to see some actual "proof" before we believe the accusation? Like other had said, no matter how many time this come up people never produce any kind of proof beyond the " just trust me bro" level. I remember there was one case the person who lost the house went as far as claiming they actually talked to a GM, had the GM investigate, claimed the GM "admited" the issue but told them there is nothing can be done. Guess what happened when asked to provide proof of that exchange? Just trust me bro, everything happened exactly like that because I told you so!

Your logic is also weird if not a bit anarchist. First, it's like you accusing someone of wrong doing, and you believe because the fact no one is perfect, that's itself is proof enough they're guilty of the fault you accusing them? Secondly ... 5 threads? Well, I can tell you there are actually more, but even if you double, triple, quadrupble that amount it still doesn't mean anything without hard proof, not to mention it's still a very tiny number considering thousand if not ten of thousand players own a house.

Just a funny story to share:

When I was a student one of my job was working as a lab assistant. And it was almost a daily occurrence that a few people would lock themselves out of their accounts for typing the wrong password. Yet usually, maybe 1 out of 50 has the honesty to admit they just forgot or using the wrong password. The computer is stupid! I know I used the right password!! .etc. are more common, and often they will take their frustration on everything (the machine, the programs) and everyone else (the assistant, aka me) but them. Well, I worked for years, and you know the number of time it turned out the fault lied with system? Zero. But according to your logic, just because more than few people having the same issues, there must be something wrong with the system, right? Heck, back then some of the program didn't have hashed PW and just store it in plain text. I had to deal with people who were steaming and yelling, adamant that they had the right password. Then I show them how to recover it, and the actual PW is sent to their email, they looked at it and go "oh, I thought it was something else". You know how often that happened? A lot more than zero.

What situation?

We know his wife was involved so there's a 50% chance shes the owner and this is a non issue. We also know from previous bugs and exploits that this community is very good at finding proof of the bugs existence and the source condition of the bugs, yet nobody has found any proof of this one beyond "because I said so". Which is more likely; that there's a bug out there with no proof of its existence or his wife failed to maintain the house?
