It's held together with the easter event again, not the first time it's happened.
You'd think they would want more events to incentivize people to log on and play, especially while we're now in the pre-next expansion lull but what do I know? (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍)
Granted, with how little they've been doing with the events (just making them 1-or-2 quests with very little rewards), maybe that would be a lost cause too?
Little Ladies Day and Hatchingtide have never happened at the same time, afaik. It did get held at roughly the same time during the 2021's Valentione's Day event though.
@OP: Little Ladies Day generally happens during the first half or the last half of March, with seasonal events often being announced about a week before they happen.
I mean, Valentione ended only a week ago, and the XV crossover just started, plus the moogle tomestones still going on. I think they just don't want to cramp all events so close to each other.
My guess is Little Ladies will be at the end of March and Hatching Tide somewhere mid to late April
I was hoping the Fall Guys event was the start of events changing in 14 (since that was probably the most fun I've ever had in a 14 event lol) but.....You'd think they would want more events to incentivize people to log on and play, especially while we're now in the pre-next expansion lull but what do I know? It's still so amusing to me how they make a single quest with like 10 minutes of cutscenes and a 3 minute level 10 FATE and then call that an "event." If any of you took Yoshida's advice and actually played other games, you'd realize what a huge joke this is.
The biggest punchline is XIV's got about a decade worth of abandoned content scattered all over the place. If they just unearthed any of it and tied a token store to it or something, they could have low-effort events every single month. Instead, they release more frequent cash shop updates where the pricing rivals the sort of thing you'd expect from a f2p mmo. But hey! At least the CEO isn't stealing breastmilk like at blizzard, so I guess this is acceptable.
Was that already announced somewhere? It can be easy to miss when a lot of information gets released to JP trade magazines and never gets translated to English.
Little Ladies' Day usually coincides with the Doll Festival, or Girl's Day, in Japan that occurs on March 3rd. Delaying it for almost a month seems strange when it's Hatching Tide that has been a bit more flexible on schedule in the past.
The guy went on record saying he is more or less taking ideas he likes from WoW and adding it to XIV. It's not that shocking considering events here are just WoW events with a fate added to it. Though I wish he would copy WoW's events a little more and make a cool mini village outside of town during Christmas events and things like that.
