Pictomancer animations underwhelming

i've been a caster main for 10 years or so... and it feels like somebody took my heart and dropped it into a bucket of boiling tears... and at the same time, somebody else is hitting my soul in the crotch with a frozen sledgehammer... and then a third guy walks in and starts punching me in the grief bone... and I'm crying, and nobody can hear me, because I'm terribly, terribly... terribly alone

The first one's a RDM (Verflare and Verholy), the second one is a BLM (during their Umbral Ice phase), and the third is a SMN (Titan). (◍´͈ꈊ`͈◍)
In all seriousness, I'm curious as to why you feel this way over Pictomancer? Like, it might not be your aesthetic but I can't imagine it's inclusion will bring down all casters.

Oh I don’t think it will bring down all casters, and actually I’m interested to see where it will land. I mean the no rez aspect is interesting because I can’t believe will be able match blm damage so it must bring some other party utility (I think anyway).
I understand that there are people that are super excited about it, and that’s cool. I just really disliked the cartoonish look and the slurpy sound fx lol. With that being said, I will 100% play Pictomancer, I’ll just have to have some tissues nearby
