Beastmaster I'm thinking, might be similar to bluemage in how you can store abilities (beastmaster would store pets- like you go out and grab certain monsters and keep them for different occasions??)?? idk
As far as picto not being able to rez, there was talk of resurrect being taken away from smn & rdm so they didn't want to design another caster class with rez if they're planning on taking it away.
I am very excited for pictomancer, I love the outfit they had but was just extremely disappointed in the in-game reveals vfx animations. It might be something where it'll feel different once we're in the game, playing the class but, I won't hold my breath. I hope they improve the vfx to look more in-line with what the DT trailer showed. (I know it likely can't reach that level of detail, but it was more lisa frank/super fantasy pretty paint while in game-was more paper cut-out stock photo of paint for kids schools.
an idea that comes to mind on how picto couldve been made more intresting as a limited job, is the game Okami where you as the player can interact with your environment also theres Epic mickey if some are more familiar with that ,tying this along with sight seeing would be 10x more fun than the main job gameplay where it'll be more limited plus the devs could go plus ultra on the animations due to them not conflicting with the battle content which i can guarantee will be an issue once its used in ultimate raiding, conversely i think Beast master is better suited as main job due to the pet system in place as well as comparable jobs. collecting spells & monsters is fun & all but what content lets you be able to access that jobs potential?
