    Those are technically not animations, just VFX. To take your Overpower example, the animation is still exactly the same, it's just the "shockwave" effect that was changed from a frontal cone to a circle.

    But the thread name is making the same error since the OP is talking about the underwhelming VFX and not the actual character animations.
    So you're still correct, they could absolutely change the VFX before release.

    MCH had gotten some VFX and actual character animations added because used to, it was very unimpressive and much of the feedback for MCH was how boring it was (along with performance issues iirc)

    all in all i'll have to wait & see but the 1st impression i got isnt something i'm excited for

    Picto would be a terrible limited job… what would be the gimmick? Blue mage has learning all of their spells from enemies, and beast master is going to be Pokémon. Limited jobs each have their own gimmick to make it different.

    It should be limited because of a lack of Rez? Uh oh, someone should tell the black mages they’ve been playing a limited job this whole time. That’s where the job fits. It’ll deal similar aDPS to black mage.

    Just because you don’t like the aesthetic, doesn’t mean it should be a limited job lol.

    What school system failed me? Have you reread anything from your post? Zero capitalization and terrible grammar.

    They didn’t choose pictomancer because of Krile. Caster is long overdue for a job and this is the route they went. She would have been whichever caster they designed.

    In the end it doesn’t matter because Pictomancer isn’t a limited job lol.

    Pictomancer is not a limited job because they had a concept for making it a standard job. Simple as that.

    Catching different beasts sounds far better suited to a side-content job than a standard battle job.
