Miqote Sire Name?

I find it difficult naming female Miqote because there doesn't seem to be a list of all the clans' sires. Aside from the naming convention thread, which does not list them, where would I find such a list? Is there a place in game maybe?

For example, who is the sire for the A clan? What about the J clan? And so on. It seems only a few are known.

Also, are there multiple Nuhns or just one? The naming thread didn't say.

Unless your character is a daughter of either the U or M tribes we've met during the MSQ (and even then, she could just as easily be a daughter of some heretofore unseen branch of either), her sire's name is up to your discretion. If you don't feel comfortable inventing something yourself, refer to the examples of masc names in the naming conventions thread, or use the name generator (denoted by the little dice symbol, iirc?) in the character creation menu, re-rolling till you see a "surname" you like.

And yes, it's said that sometimes there are multiple Nunh for larger tribes.

This is something I've been intending to assemble for a while. I've got a giant list of character names and I've done write-ups for a few races; Seekers are my next target but I need to spend some time organising both the general name list and a "what we know about each tribe" thing.

In general though, the information you need for character naming purposes isn't necessarily the name of the current nunh, but of who was nunh when your character was born, so you want to be looking at the surnames of adult female characters.

In some cases it's going to be the same person holding the position for the long term, like M'rahz Nunh who has evidently been there for decades, but in other cases the nunh is going to have claimed the title too recently to be sire to anyone of playable-character age – and U'odh Nunh seems to be a case of this as he only became nunh after his time with the Company of Heroes, which according to the lorebook timeline was disbanded around 1566 and the year is now 1577, so he has been there for eleven years at most.

One nunh per tribe is normal, but large tribes will have two – this is touched on in the sidequest storyline about M'zhet Tia.

Are you looking for names for particular tribes, or you just want to know all of them? I can say immediately that we do have a name for the J tribe previous nunh through the profiles for J'dyalani Abah and J'olmyn Abah, so J'abah Nunh, but it says he was killed when the Garleans invaded and I don't think we have information on what happened after that.
