I'm reserving judgement for when the expansion is out, but I don't think I'll last another expansion with the same issues from Endwalker. I'll probably just buy for the story and then quit until it's 7.55 and resub again for a month to finish the storyline without interruptions.
The finale of this expansion has been harder on the community as a whole because of DC travel opening up doors and unfortunately combining different communities into a hodge podge. I can tell you that people on Aether seemed pretty antagonistic to those from crystal, and exposure to people whose sole focus is end game grinding on savage and pvp can be a very harrowing experience to a lot of people that prefer to keep to a slower pace or just want to do things spur of the moment.

End Game being pvp and savage almost exclusively is like going from a fun experience to the most stressful one you can find in gaming. And then winning one reward only to have another one show up the next patch and impulsively going after the new goal is what a lot of people end up doing regardless of their mental health. It's gotten to the point where I can't tell if the content attracts those in poor mental health, or peoples mental health just goes into the trash from doing it.
