That's a very small tweak, yet usefull. I vouch for that.I've noticed just how uninformative the class selection screen. I know us experienced MMO players are used to gathering information on websites and wikis before we enter a new MMO, but that shouldn't be the norm. Unexperienced players won't have that habit, and we want to attract new players, no?
The main thing is that roles (tank, healer, DPS) aren't clear. Gladiator's description does mention something about defending allies, but Marauder can very easily be mistaken for a DPS job. Conjurer's description says nothing about healing. Whenever a new player is deciding on a class they need to get external advice on which ones are tanks or DPS. I've seen this a lot with streamers, and usually it is chat that ends up clearing up the roles.
And for Arcanist, I think it is important to specify that you can later go into a Healer job as well as a DPS job. This could maybe be done by showing, for every class, what jobs they "evolve" into.
It looks to me like there is quite some space available in the interface for these pieces of information and it would streamline the character creation process for players without much MMO experience.
