Currently you can only test interactions of abilities in a 1v1 duel in the wolves den. If you'd like to experiment with something like how crowd control would interact with a Samurai who has Warden's Paean, Aquaveil, and Meikyo Shisui all simultaneously active, this is only possible by gathering 10 players for a crystal conflict match, or 72 players for a custom frontline match which is a bit overkill.
Focusing on this one in particular because being able to test/show off interactions is incredibly good. Training dummies in the wolves den aren't going to let you test how much damage you take from enemies, but I also generally think it's better to test how much damage you do to actual players rather than just theory crafting bursts on a target.
