    Extremely nitpicky job "changes" I want

    Most of these aren't really changes at all, but instead consist of changing the names/animations of existing abilities or swapping the names, and functions of existing abilities so that they feel a little more thematically coherent.

    WAR
    Swap the names of Storm's Eye, and Storm's Path. The eye of a storm is supposedly relatively calm so Storm's Eye should be the GCD you get the heal from whereas Strom's Path is where you should get the damage up buff from because that is where the destruction happens during a storm.

    MNK
    Just swap the functionality of Form Shift, and Perfect Balance. This doesn't change MNK's rotation at all, but just swaps the functionality of existing abilities where you just press Form Shift to start your Blitz combos, and use Perfect Balance to kickstart you form combos.

    MCH
    Change the name, and animation of Hypercharge to something heat related like Ventilate or something. I feel like Hypercharge's name, animation, and sound design implies it has some interaction with the battery gauge. I also feel like Flamethrower could be reworked to be the AOE heat spender, and Auto Crossbow could maybe be added to the multitool rotation, but I'm not sure because Auto Crossbow is kinda just satisfying to spam in dungeons.

    Also Barrel Stabilizer seems like it should be a Resemble upgrade, and should be called Analysis considering how it's used in PVP which means MCH needs another heat related button that grants free heat gauge.

    These "inconsistencies" kinda bug me a little more than they probably should, but details do matter. Are there any other job actions that kinda feel 'thematically janky' to anyone else?

    Along these lines, it bothers me that on GNB the animation that looks like Draw is named Bloodfest, and the animation that looks like Bloodfest is named Double Down (Bloodfest being Seifer's Limit Break from FFVIII). Too bad they didn't think of naming it Draw and Junction until the PvP rework.

    MCH: please stop doing 30 flips every time i push 1-2-3...
    its a gun... you ain't gotta do that.. in fact you sacrifice footing and put everyone down range in danger..
    put the flip animation of one of the ability's with a 30 sec CD..

    SMN SCH: a book? really? you disgust me, get out of my sight.. NEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRDDD.

    Flamethrower - used to generate heat, now doesn't.
    Shotgun - seemingly generates more heat than a flamethrower and a rapid fire machine gun.

    Wildfire PvP - bomb that explodes on everyone near target
    Wildfire PvE - bomb that only blows up the target

    Machinist logic is sound.

    Ideally for Samurai?... Combine the following skills in some way shape or form to solve bloat and making room for new/better skills in the future
    • Guren / Senei
    • Shoha I / Shoha II
    • Ikishoten / Ogi Namikiri
    • Shinten / Kyuten
    - Quality of Life changes
    Meditate refreshes ( not generates ) Fuka / Fugetsu buffs. Guren reach/width increased slightly due to the gigantic mobs we have. Remove Cooldown off of Shoha, makes weaving it into Raid-buffs slightly more user-friendly.

    - Personal Nitpicking?
    Turn Tenka Goken back into a Cone, keep it non-targetable and increase its radius/reach compared to its original. I hate... everything becoming a darn Circle...

    I believe this would improve Samurai. Though I'm pretty sure I left one big thing out that I wished to see returned, though I can't tell what... hmm.......

    Agree with all of them minus Shinten Kyuten merge. It makes sense for Guren-Senei and the Shohas given the long cooldown and resource requirement, but Shinten Kyuten would be nice for on-the-fly decisionmaking - well, at least if Kyuten becomes two-target neutral, at least.

    Rest you said is spot on.

    The thing is, a lot these are basically Single Target and AoE versions of each other... I think the only way they could realistically combine them would be to raise the AoE ones potency to match the single target skills.



    Anyways, for other nitpicks...

    Rename the Disciple of Magic base classes

    Conjurer should be the base class for Summoner/Scholar
    Arcanist should be the base class for Black Mage
    Thaumaturge should be the base class for White Mage

    I'd rather they revert the surging tempest name to storm’s eye. Warrior’s offence and defence seesaw is really encapsulated by maintaining a buff called storm’s eye - ie the equilibrium or balance point and tying nicely into warrior’s walking natural disaster imagery.
