Yeah, well, it's hard to tell exactly how hard it is for SE to do this. They're using in-house tools for animation after all, as far as I know. I saw a dev video with the FF11 team a few years ago though, where we got to see the tools they used for making animations. They made it sound like it was very easy for them to create fluid and good animations in it manually without mocap. If it's as easy to edit existing animation in FF14 and it was to create entirely new animations in FF11, there might be hope.

As with all other ideas on this forum, the important part is just to make SE aware that people are interested in something, and how many are interested. The rest all depends on how much work it would be to add it, or if the devs feel like it fits into their vision. That's why I initially said that I would like it if it was easy for them to do. I wouldn't want to see a ton of dev resources being put into something like this, it's not important enough for that.
