    Its best if its left for terrain, as we know from experiance (CC, AV) they will make a stupid raid where you literly have to jump 66 times to get a chest or something even stupider.
    LEAVE IT FOR THE TERRAIN!!

    *As Discipline of war... MNK could learn an action called "Flying Kick" where is required to select "Flying Kick" first and then it highlight "Jump" action to be used in conjuction , once you press the "Jump" action it performs/unleash the "Flying Kick" attack.
    Why not just have your "Flying Kick" or "Grab Fruit" moves make you jump automatically? We have several jumping attacks already that do this: (DRG) Jump, Aura Pulse, Doom Spike, Steel Cyclone, etc..

    The OP's suggestion appears to be a rather convoluted attempt to make FFXIV into a platform-action game.

    Exactly what Yoshida said he doesn't want do to XIV. The idea is fine if this were turning into an action game, however it's not in that realm.

    I dont want thurn this into an action game, but make things dynamic... lets say you be doing a mega boss.... imagine Batral wherer yuou have to stand into silly circles of light to activate them and then go and damage Batral.... this idea would give developers more options to implement than just a silly "go stand over that switch" or make it more dynamic than force them input a text log window where you have to accept "activate this switch or not?" in midle fight.
