Warrior headgear: Theogonic ilvl650 vs Anabaseios ilvl640

I'm a returning player that recently reached lvl 90 endgame and I'm gearing up warrior.

I have not done any savage yet, so I was wondering what is better between the two headgears in the title before I get the 660 piece.

Diadochos and credendum headgears are not good and I dropped Theogonic from Thaleia.

However it has skill speed which makes it not great, while the 640 headpiece from Anabaseios Normal, although ilvl640, has crit and det.

Apart for some more def and vit, is 12 str from Theogonic better than 123 crit on Anabaseios? Det is almost the same between the two pieces.

ilv is king. Substats are secondary.

Losing 123 Crit even on same item level has such a minimal impact on your performance that you would hardly notice the difference. After all you can still meld 2 x 36 Crit with materia. Skillspeed may not be great, but it is not a bad stat if you struggle with hitting GCDs before a boss says "lol bye" to you or you have to disengage for whatever reason.

And if the Crit piece is lower in item level it will have impact on STR, which is vastly stronger than what you may lose in Crit and a different meld.
