Good morning! Thank you for posting in the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Please try the following:
- Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card and sound drivers (if applicable). It appears there is a newer version available that was released on March 20th, 2024 for the [AMD Radeon RX 6600]. Please try updating the GPU driver to this newer version to see if it helps.
- Please try lowering the resolution.
- Please try running the game as an administrator.
- Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything.
- Please be sure to disable or remove any overlays (Discord, Steam, NVIDIA etc.) as they may interfere with startup.
- Make sure that the Windows OS is fully updated.
- Disable Full Screen Optimizations. To disable this, please find the "ffxiv_dx11.exe" and right click it and select properties. Then under the compatibility tab there will be a check box labeled "Disable Full Screen Optimizations". Check it and click apply.
- Double check to make sure PC is not over heating and remove any overclocks on GPU/CPU
- Reinstall game

Hi, I've been having this same issue for over a year without solution. I just tried every suggested step in this thread without luck. As of now, the crash is consistently occuring the very moment the game finishes loading (after choosing character and passing the login queue). I'm at my wit's end, and I really hope you can help.
