it excels at preemptive damage prevention, but it suffers a shortage of emergency recovery when things go wrong, you have to constantly stay oon top of your shield being kept up on the tank, or you are spending all your CDs to recover, and then lacking them when you need them later

SGE is functionally a regen healer, SGE relies on silent mitigation and constant regen ticks to keep the tank healthy, it almost never actually relies on shields
