Did they nerf dungeon XP recently?

Outside of roulettes, I need to know if they've nerfed dungeon XP recently. I've leveled four combat jobs to 80 with zero issue. But now that I'm leveling my fifth, it is taking forever. Before, I'd get around a quarter of my bar worth. For example, queing for MSQ dungeon, despite having already gotten the daily reward, I'd still get about a quarter of my xp bar. But since the last minor patch, I haven't. I just ran Castrum Meridianum and got roughly five percent of my bar? I used to get much more than that while pushing 70-90. Has anybody else experienced this, or know of a setting that might have gotten hosed that's causing it? I've been trying for a week now to get from 70 to 90 and am still only 79. Not even 80! What's going on?

Castrum Meridianum is level 50 duty. Expansion max level dungeons always rewarded next to no exp. If you're in that level range, use either Aurum Vale or Dusk Vigil

Also if you mean specifically MSQ roulette, it gives reward only one per day. I ran it today and got usual normal experience, maybe you did it twice?

What I'm saying, though, is that a week ago, it wasn't like that. I still got decent XP.

Outside of the daily roulette bonus it has always been better to run the highest leveling dungeon available to you, level cap dungeons (50/60/70/80/soon 90) always had bad XP returns because at the level you used to run them at you didn't need the XP. Pretty much the same thing you see happening with post-expansion MSQ quests where the XP takes a nosedive until you reach the next expansion's x.0 MSQ.
As you say you're 79 Mt Gulg should be where you want to be leveling, until you get to 81 and can do the Tower of Zot - skip the level 80 dungeons.

Maybe you got Castrum through Main Scenario roulette before and now you queued for Castrum directly?

maybe your sprout buff ran out or you didn't have a mentor in grp to give you bonus, maybe your preferred world status changed/ended, maybe you got a higher level dungeon for you roulette so the exp bonus was weighed less. maybe you just over estimated how much exp that particular activity gives.

Outside roulettes, always queue for the specific dungeon within your level range for the best exp. Don't forget to eat your food. Also, your 'rested' exp bonus likely ran out.

I'd say still do roulettes, at least MSQ, Levelling, Alliance Raid and, if its your cup of tea, Frontlines. Those four do give good daily roulette EXP, just do note that its only once per day, and after that they dont give any bonuses and its basically just queueing for random dungeon for 0 extra reward.

On average, you should get about a third of your experience bar, in my "experience".

That is providing you are doing the leveling dungeon closest to your level. A leveling dungeon is any dungeon that is 1-49, 51-59, 61-69, 71-79 or 81-89 and excludes 50, 60, 70 and 80 dungeons.

It's because it's a max level dungeon. These have never given much exp. If they did then it was probably a temporary bug.
