Won't Relaunch In True Fullscreen and Keeps Tabbing Out

So, been having this problem for a few months, and it seems to be two fold.
I can set my game to full screen mode, and it will launch into it properly as it should, but for some reason now, when I exit the game and reopen it, it says that it is still in full screen, shows that it has the same display settings as my monitor, but there is a clear dulling of the colors and if I click out of it, it behaves as borderless windowed mode instead. If I want to get back into true full screen, I have to switch modes to borderless windowed, then turn full screen back on. It's not a huge deal in and of itself, but it is a bit annoying I have to remember to do this every time I relaunch the game.

The second issue that seems to have popped up right around the same time, and the bigger reason I have to make sure to switch back to full screen, is at random times the game will act as though I tried to tab out of it.
If I forget to revert to full screen, it will reduce the size of the window to bring up the desktop, and I have to click out and click back in again to get back into the game.
It will still do this if I switch back to full screen, but instead of semi-minimizing, it will act as though I clicked out of the game on to something else, but I will then have to physically click out of the game on my desktop menu bar or something on my other screen, then click back into the game again.
It will do this no matter where I am in the game, though I notice it seems to happen more frequently when I am in dungeons or other instanced content.
And yes, I've been careful to make sure that I'm not accidently clicking out of the game onto my second screen. This will happen even if I'm not touching anything on my computer or my keyboard at all.
It does not seem to be an issue with any other game or program I own, so I think the problem is unique to FFXIV or some process that only seems to effect it.

I have also tried using the repair options in the game launcher, and recently my game acted as though it had been fresh installed and I had to download all of my user and character settings from the cloud to fix them. Thankfully I had a relatively recent upload on all of them and only had to fix a few minor things on my dragoon's hotbars.
This happened about a week before the most recent patch. I thought the problem was gone for a few days, but it seems to still be there, albeit happening a little less often.

Might want to open the Launcher and click the cog for Config settings menu and then select System Information, click on Copy to Clip board and edit your post then paste and save.

Sounds like the game loses Focus on the window.

I will give it a try, and I will have to reinstall it anyhow (at least the basics), but that is odd because I've been running razer for the past five years and this problem only started within the last couple of months.
I can safely uninstall Cortex and Axon without it messing up my ability to use my keyboard and mouse, I don't use those two for anything anyway, but I need to keep synapse or I won't be able to play at all. xp

I'll keep asking around, just in case, or hope razer fixes this at some point, cause again, this is a really new problem out of long years of using their products, but oh well. I can't afford to, don't really want to give up my keyboard and mouse. I have small hands and had a hard enough time finding gaming peripherals that were comfortable for me to use. Not very many companies make ones that still have things like an attached numpad but still make the over all size smaller.

I will try the fix as well, but the odd thing is that FFXIV seems to be the only game I play in full screen that suffers this problem. I can play all of my other games without a single hitch. It does not seem to effect Borderlands 3, Terraria, Minecraft or Destiny 2, and I play all of those full screen.

Update!
Thanks for your help! I did not ultimately have to remove Synapse, but thanks to that issue report you sent me, as of so far, I think I solved my issue. One of the things I ran across in there was turning off notifications in Synapse. The game stayed in full screen mode after booting up, and after at least the few hours of playing I did last night, there were no interruptions.
Hard to say for certain just yet this did indeed fix the problem, but I also snagged that Focus Logger app so that I can see what is doing it if it does happen again.
