The weekly and monthly standings tell you how many you've earned in a given time frame but is there a way to check on your absolute all-time total?

To the best of my knowledge, nothing like this exists.
Why does this matter? (This will help SE understand why you want the feature.) Nobody else cares about Grand Company seals like that (in my experience).
It is sort of reflected in a free company until you spend some of the FC currency but that gets added to by other FC members.

It matters to me. I am curious. I want to know.
Why does that matter? Am I meant to follow the herd and only care about what everyone else cares about?
Not to be rude, but your message comes across as less interested in answering the question and more interested in throwing shade at me for asking it.
It was because I couldn't answer the question. I couldn't answer the question because SE couldn't answer the question. Because SE didn't expect people to want or need to know this.
Which led to me asking the logical question of why you need to know it, because by answering that question, you have told SE why you need to know it and why it should be a feature.
And I stated that nobody else cares because I've never seen anyone ask the question in almost 10 years of playing.
Fortunately, the above poster remembered that it's tracked in an achievement. The achievements do track a lot of things, but only up to a point.
"Why does it matter" and "Nobody else cares about it" sound like things that are never appropriate responses in a forum specifically dedicated to helping new players. My reaction was the same as the OP's - if you don't know the answer, give the topic a pass, but your response seemed very much a direct attack and implying he shouldn't care because you don't of others who might. It was because I couldn't answer the question. Asking why it matters makes a lot of sense, because as a veteran player I genuinely don't see why it matters and have never seen anyone else need this information. It is a fair, reasonable and logical question, in my opinion.
Stating that nobody else cares about it was also logical, because that is the truth, from my perspective. I've genuinely never seen anyone else care about it, so I was genuinely providing information that it's not something that other players tend to care about or want and for that reason it is logical that SE wouldn't provide the information.
I would normally give it a pass, but from my perspective, it was not a question anyone could answer because SE does not provide the information. My reaction was the same as the OP's - if you don't know the answer, give the topic a pass
I hadn't thought of the achievement method but that still has its limits.
I've never attacked anyone. I'm sorry it came across like that.your response seemed very much a direct attack
I don’t think the game presents this info at all, and the other periods (weekly/monthly?) are only tracked on the Lodestone. To keep the records you want to see you would have to do it personally I suppose.
You can use the "earn 500,000 seals" achievements to track your progress for each Grand Company, but only up until the point you actually earn the achievement. After that,.
