Easy housing sollution

Instead of adding new wards of the same "mistake" please add a new type of ward where every plot is capable of holding a small, medium or large house.

This way people won't have to fight over it or have a lottery and knowing that today several small plots are already vacated (not enough people want one) it would enable everyone to get a house without the need of more wards.

Think about it.. you buy a plot, buy a cottage.... get enough money.. upgrade to medium... get even more money... upgrade to a mansion.. this way when you find the perfect plot you won't have to ever think about moving again. The lottery can be maintained for when someone loses a house and people want that location.

SE Can even decide to build a new plot from scratch and place the housing in a way so no house feels out of place. Image a mirror version of the mist where you have the housing on an island with 4 rows of housing and on each side is a beach and sea. That way no one has to run far to get that sweet experience. They can easily do something similar to all housing wards.

Another option would be to have a ward with instanced houses where the outside is static but beautiful and would be treated similar to apartments. But when you go outside you would find yourself in some sort of park in the middle shared by everyone in the ward (with NPC's, market board & seating and maybe a fountain and some bushes/trees to top it off). That way more people can use the same ward with less effort for SE when it comes down to designing a new ward.

This is what other games already do. Some of us play for the unique housing experience. If you want this, go play one of the thousand other games that already does it.

The unique housing expierence of this game is utter dogshit and not worth perserving. I'd rather this game do what thousands of other games do better rather than be convinced this system is worth anything.

Current system is just a love letter to toxic elitists who think the artifical scarcity is a good thing, or just people who bot and exploit it. Burn it to the ground please.

I would very much enjoy it if the mods on these forums had a zero tolerance for toxic behavior and just banned everyone that behaved like a 3 year old.
Several people have been taking everything so damn personal lately but that still doesn't give them the right to disrespect other people.
People here all love Square enix and FFXIV and since they pay for their subscription its only normal they get a right to voice their opinion on the game or make a couple of suggestions which according to them might improve the experience for those that may be frustrated about something.

Don't like something said? Either reply respectfully like an adult or don't reply at all please. Last thing we need right now is everyone starting to sound like the average league of legend player.

On a personal note. Oizen I can sense a lot of frustration in your reply but I also see your point which is why I suggested a revamp which pretty much comes down to your "burning everything down" comment xD

They have their right to have an opinion, and so do the people on the other side.

Also dont come out here with that "I'm holy" attitude when your post on a different thread is extra toxic, I'll quote it for you.

I was raised with manners so when I see others get disrespectful answers when they could easily get a more respectable one I'm left with 2 choices... either the people in question were deprived of oxygen too long and have possible brain damage or their IQ barely keeps them from forgetting how to breathe.

So the housing experience is supposed to be like living in a neighborhood. Except you got lots of bot owned houses, ppl keeping houses who don't play. Alt loophole houses and private player houses and venues.

The only reason any ward might be active is the venues. Otherwise you be hard pressed to see a ward with a active fc hanging qt their fc house.

The idea I see here isn't a bad one if it was instanced housing utilizing fc workshop to build up the plot and house size.

The current problem I actually see is that no one wants a small. You bound to see them open more. Players all want the mediums and larges due to space.

A small is actually good enough if you learn to decorate right and is a literal stepping stone to getting gil reduced if you win a lottery to relocate the small to a bigger plot.
