The patch can still get delayed. He didn't say any definite. Though, judging from recent patches, it seem like their aim is to always release patches on time (or at least as close as possible) and rather delay certain content to lettered patches, which is fine by me.

I don't mind these letters that don't have much info about the game, but I wish they weren't so stingy with artwork/screenshots. Like, would it hurt to show us the RSE artwork for the other races for instance?

To be honest I doubt they'll push back the patch the worse case is they'll release less content in 1.23a and then next week they'll release 1.23b. Since this event is pretty time sensitive if they release it to late then the time people have to complete certain parts will be less then intended.

Yea they look like mug shots lol pretty bleh they could have done better but oh well its the artwork that counts

I want to see the female roegadyn rse I wonder if they will give the races new terms instead of having to say male miqote or female roegadyn lol

Hello again, all you FFXIVers out there! Yoshi-P here, with my thirty-first Letter from the Producer.

It’s really beginning to feel like the start of summer over here in Japan. We’re seeing some days get up to around 30°C (that’s about 86°F, in case you were wondering). How are all of you holding up? Hm? What about me? Thanks for asking! I’ve been keeping an eye on the FFXIV update, going to a bunch of version 2.0 design meetings, holding a mess of interviews, heading overseas for global PR and more meetings... I gotta be honest, all the different time zones and climates are wreaking havoc on mah circadian rhythms!

I also had the honor of attending Japan Expo 2012 in France the other day. I was a first-timer there, and was absolutely blown away by the level of excitement, just like I’d been told I would be. I have to say thanks to all of the passionate fans for the energy they gave me!
