Citizen, you should see some of the things FF14 fans post on Twitter. Some of these people do nothing but post lude photos and act like degenerates. It truly is conduct unbecoming of an Eorzean.

Yeah for sure. I don't bother with the FFXIV community on twitter. In fact I try to distance myself as much as possible from them.

The city of Limsa Lominsa can only allocate so many resources to the Weeaboo Police Department, and we need new legislation on securing funding to support our troopers and the mission. Without sufficient manning and equipment, our Weeaboo Police troopers will only continue to meet bottlenecks on the road towards our department's goal.

The only other option in handling the rise in degeneracy and the rampant crime in our streets is to request that the Limsa Lominsa City Council declare a state of war against the Lalafell menace.

What we need is to start a campaign to have you elected into public office, Lieutenant. Whenever your service obligation with the WPD is up, I'd recommend you delve into Lominsan politics. You are more than capable of acting in the position of an elected official and you'd make the WPD proud.

People report these all the time, but the same guys keep at it forever, literally asking for feet pics and begging for discord daddies and stuff.
Meanwhile, if you or I say something constructive in a dungeon that's perceived in an offensive way, or if someone decides that our username offends them for some reason, we can get a strike on our account. It really makes it seem like the GMs enforce the ToS in wild and unpredictable ways, right?

not saying onlyfans-or-whatever ads in pf arent mildly /raises_eyebrows worthy. guess this is what happens when mmorpgs become just another social media, and stop being protectorate for sweaty nerds.

I tend to avoid the other tab in general instead of getting worked up over what people do outside of the game on there discords/onlyfans/twitters that they tend to link in the other tab and don't feel the need to sit and report every listing under it and just ignore it.

There's no point in reporting this. There was a person who was selling feet pics a long time ago in primal and every time the person had a different last name meaning they created another account because the first one got banned. As long as they made over $13 a month selling them it was a sound business model and SE couldn't do anything about it.

On the other hand, I do agree raising FFXIV to M rating because it would lead to better stories and more mature themes rather than walking on eggshells over heavy topics. This was probably one of the best things about FF 16, that it wasn't scared of being too gritty.

Corporate greed dictates that they go with, and maintain the lowest rating possible to keep the door open for as many sales and subs as possible. I got into FF was I was 8 years old. I can imagine that wouldn't have been the case if ff7 had an m rating. So, I can understand why they don't go for the m rating. If they did it would be even worse in PFS etc ... So I'm happy with it staying with teen rating

Online interactions aren't rated. If they were there wouldn't be an online game out there with less than M. Just report and move on. If it doesn't get taken down, obviously SE doesn't have a problem with it.

This is part of the problem I have with current moderation is that it appears that one of two things is occurring:
1. The GMs are understaffed and are unable to keep up with the reports.
2. The GMs are staffed correctly but have different priorities when closing reports.

I would hope this is a case of the former, but I can also see where the latter of the two cases is true.

Maybe the GMs are the ones posting these things, and running venues, so they don't ban their friends for being degens violating tos ... Like I reported an explicited shout ad and the gm replied " thank you for report regarding misuse of the party finder" ... I didn't mention party finder anywhere, and copied the shout chat with the time stamp and all in my report. so if they process the report as if it were about the pf instead of a shout then they obviously find no violations, and then take no action. Clearly this was done to protect the dirty ERP shout ads that are def not suitable to be exposing children to. SE really needs to get their priorities in order here , almost feels like I'm logging into phub instead of FFXIV and that's pretty cringe

That is true, citizen. I would have to qualify for the position first by taking the Lominsan Civil Service Exam. Luckily for me, my service to the Weeaboo Police Department gets me extra points added to my overall score.
