    Overtime is a problem.

    Overtime exists as a mechanic so that a losing team can turn the game back around and win.

    Usually it works as intended when it's letting one of the teams get back from a losing position, but when it's a tie that's being fought out of, it can easily make the game last three times as long if not more, especially if both teams (which are completely random, given that it's impossible to queue in a party and the only matchmaking ensures that you can't have two of the same job on the same team) are swayed more towards defense than offense.

    Overtime should have its own time limit, just like in almost every single IRL sport, since that's where the term comes from. People shouldn't have to suffer through 10+ minute games because they're too "evenly matched". If it somehow isn't possible to give the win to the team that has the most progress on breaking the 50% gate, call it "Sudden Death" and prevent people from being raised.

    One thing I hate about over time is that I feel like I can't leave the crystal for any reason. Got a BLM and WHM casting off crystal? To bad can't smack them cause if you walk off the match ends.

    There can? even i got my 100 wins and never saw one lol

    Yes just yesterday i had such matches... like if it was 70/70 and evenly, sure. But we had matches with Overtime where it was 80-90/0-5... like really, just end that.

    I think overtime is good for a second chance and it is also good if the teams are tied, it makes it way more intense to play and try to get the win.

    I don't understand what people can have anything against it?

    I don't think people have anything against overtime existing as a mechanic, it's just that it should have a time limit of its own. It's very rare but you can get matches that go over 20 minutes because the teams are quite evenly matched and neither team can actually break the checkpoint.

    5 minutes MAX of overtime would be what I'd appreciate, and block any respawns after that timer expires. There should be no draws in CC.

    The reason I don't find overtime fun, is the same reason I don't find Aurum vale fun. It's tedious, its long, it's boring, and you just want to do something else. Maybe others find it nail biting and exciting, but prolonged matches aren't fun for me.

    Then may the ones the has the most fatigue lose... it is natural selection by then... and yes 20 minutes is fine.

    Technically there is a time limit of 30 minutes in which case the game is a "draw" but the odds of both teams lasting 30 minutes is slim.

    They could just compensate the player by making the rewards you get scale with how long you've done the activity. Most other pvp games tend to do that and all they would have to do is just program it into the game. But I doubt they would ever do that tbh.
