    Integrating a system that gives the players increased daily reward payouts/increased currency buff, etc for participating/queue'ing for content on a Home server would be one way to do it, but then no one would want to data-travel at all; plus likely create it's own unique problems.

    I get the sense that anything hampering DC-travel would probably go against the vision the dev team has for this game; like it feels to me what Yoshi-P wants is this neighboring feeling within the community; and that everyone feels like one part of a whole; and that servers are like a different 'town' a player visits.

    But i do agree about the issues regarding Aether being the place a lot of people tend to want to go to; although it wouldn't surprise me at all if a dev views this as a situation where it's: 'A person or people(s) wanting to visit a place like New york City.' - it doesn't really solve the additional problems that creates when you pack people into a location like a sardine can, and it does literally nothing for the places they came from. (i mean except for the case of Treasure map runs, it could bring over rare items for that servers market, etc)

    But again, those same rare items could just be farmed locally as well.
