

Then sell the emote for $200/€200 in the store so people who bought the emote with a statue as a "bonus" can't complain.It's a double-edged sword. On the one hand, SE loves money. The cash shop is proof of that. But on the other hand, the ridiculous price of the statues coupled with how limited they're gives the owner a precived level of prestige. They have this emote because they spent x amount of money and you didn't. Simply selling the emotes on the cash shop damages that veneer of prestige.
In saying that I agree with you because I absolutely hate Fomo and I think less of companies that practices it as I see it as a predatory behavior, but I see it going over like a lead balloon with the crazy stupid amounts of money statue crowd. This issue hasn't made people quit en masse, so it's not a big deal to them. Ergo, the silence.
