    New Shatter feels awful

    I just got out of my first time playing Shatter since the changes and it feels absolutely awful. They made it lean away from the Macro elements it had before of trying to pick up the smaller nodes when they came up between bigger nodes and made it more Teamfight based by constantly having big nodes with nothing to go for in between while ALSO reducing points from kills. Shatter has never been the Team Deathmatch mode, since we don't have one and quite frankly it'd likely be boring at the scale we have frontlines (Feast was better for that), but now it just feels like they WANT us to have constant team fights over big points and with kills giving less value and the small points all spawning ONCE and never again it feels like unless a team snowballs it'll always run into the timer which never feels like a satisfying way to end a game. Our Frontlines modes are already in a weird spot with Seal Rock being King of the Hill and Onsal Hakair being similar but different (this feels like the mode team fighting and skirmishes are best suited for), Shatter was always left in a weird spot.
    I'm no heavy PvP grinder but I enjoy my Frontlines roulettes and PvP rewards and this just doesn't feel remotely fun. I don't literally need to fight another player to enjoy PvP, especially since Team Objectives allow Jobs to be more interesting in their applications rather than everyone grab a Job with giant AOE's and call it a day, but this just doesn't feel fun or interesting and the older Shatter at least felt nice to play with being able to secure the small nodes or contribute to the team fights around big points. I hope they take this feedback and at least revert it or make better changes because these recent ones were definitely not the right ones.

    I have to disagree, it require different tactics for all now, before it was just getting Battlehigh on each map type using questionable means to do it...

    As for shatter it is even better that way, especially because two big ones is open at the same time pretty much, it really start to ask questions to putting down some real strategy, who to hit and when.. and will the opponent do it as well and who get clapped in the sandwich.

    Tactics? Like what? Avoiding PvP because its a net loss in 90% of matches to be building battle high over hitting ice? Theres even LESS tactics in the new Shatter Rework. You can literally predict where the ice spawns - there is ZERO strategy, its the same rotation every single round. The previous versions of shatter were superior because PvP was rewarded, and encouraged even, so what "questionable" means are you referring to? Premades? Because premades are more of a problem on Onsal, and Seal rock, than they ever were on any previous versions of Shatter. If you want to solve premading, theres means to do that aside from forcing horrible map reworks on the community that a majority of people hate. All this Shatter Rework did, is make people avoid requeuing every third day.

    Frontlines should be for PvP, not playing Mario Party-esque minigames to see which team can pound the ice nodes the fastest. If thats what people are looking for, make a seperate PvP mode for that garbage, and keep it out of our Frontline queues. The only Shatter Rework I want to see is it getting reverted to its pre-EW variants.

    Somehow the node change made it worse now.... I feel it got even less pvp now? It is a good thing l figured out how to sleepwalk through it to get my roulette bonus

    I liked the old version the most where you couldn't see in advance which nodes are going to spawn and all nodes just spawned once. The newer versions are less fun in my opinion.

    I have not complained about Shattered 2.0 except I don't understand why people just not get the idea on how important Battle High is over first few ice spawns.
    Besides that, I don't see any major issue beside I no longer can have my fun of stealing Outpost
    Shattered 2.0 by design is favor of casuals like yourself yet you are still not happy
    Not every mode need to be On Sal-like, isnt it

    so youre not gonna explain why its important and instead will snidely call other players bad while providing the most vague and generic feedback, i see

    in case people dont know, the leading team after the first set of ice rarely have to fight more than one team to keep their lead since the map chokepoints makes it impossible for them to face two fronts at the time, which provide a very safe way to secure their victory with minimal risks to their ongoing BHs, its a premade paradise, i can say that because i have personal experience with the amount of games i put in in this map by now.

    its very easy to point out the flaws of this map, which are very glaring, which make people defending this map look foolish, or they are blatantly ignorant of the experience since ive seen many people complain about this map, or they want to keep riding the premade train, deflecting criticism so they can ride it for longer.

    Since when casuals = calling people bad?
    Every single Frontline/PvP changes are making gameplay more suitable for casual players, it is a fact.

    The 200 points lead from first ice spawn is a joke
    Battle High is the key to open the door to victory and it has been that way since last expansion.
    Any team don't have Battle High by 3rd round of Ice Spawn will just end up as punch bag.

    Map of Shattered 2.0 is not flawed; it is merely designed for casuals so casuals don't need to worry about strategic entry/exit.
    People on this forum basically calling everything they don't like as flawed, such a mass mis-used word
    I am not defending Shattered 2.0 as by honesty, I can make people screaming in anger in Shattered 1.0 just by myself
    Shattered 1.0 is my backyard and i am freely doing what i want to people
    Shattered 2.0, my hand is tied by SE but I accepted the change.
    Learn and adopt, it is the key

    P.S. Please don't brag about number of games you have played in order to put weight in your statement.

    casuals often arent organized to do these moves, but premades sure are, and they win easily because of that, you should see how good these chokepoints make it for them, and they dont even need to risk themselves that much since they only need to worry with one team at a time, its just too perfect, im sure casuals are happy with the exprience(that last line was sarcasm).
