Portraits are a nightmare across multiple devices

It's not only on multiple devices that portraits are a nightmare. Even trying to use portraits on a single computer is a complete UX nightmare.
I mean, why don't portraits automatically update with the new glam/equipment every time you change something? Or if that's too complicated, at least make my portrait automatically update when I update my gear set.
That's why most on most duties I simply have the default portrait because I always forget to re-save the ones I made after a change in my gear set. That's probably why 70% of players don't have a portrait either, even if you don't count F2P players that can't have a portrait.

On a completely unrelated side-note, have you considered playing on PC with a controller? It would feel more practical than having to switch platforms all the time.
