For those who don't know, the casual matchmaking of CC has a forced 50/50 win ratio, you can check this by opening up your achievements (the wolves den), and checking how many games you've participated in through your 'wolfing it down' achievement and comparing it to your 'leader of the pack' achievement.
When I finished my 'wolfing it down' achievement (participate in 5000 games) I remember having around 2600 wins in my 'leader of the pack' achievement, I've asked around with friends and they all seem to have similar results.
I play on light, a europe server, the first 1 (2) weeks of the season ranked que has been popping, after that it completely died at crystal rank, it used to pop for an hour or 3 and now it doesn't do that even anymore, it's just literally non-existent right now.
I enjoy the thrill of a challenge, testing my skill against equally other good players, I've made alts on NA and JP just to play a bit of ranked there as well, but due to the ping difference it's not really an enjoyable experience, so it leaves me with only one option, playing casual CC.
Because of the forced 50/50 win rate in casual, and the nature of how it tries to pair you with anyone for a fast que, it's more often then not a terrible experience for the better players, a 3100 hidden mmr player can get paired with a one 1100 mmr player, three 2000mmr players and be up against five 2500 hidden mmr players, there is almost no way for the 3100 mmr player to win the match because of the huge skill gap.
It isn't even the new players their fault cause they are just trying to que up and have a bit of fun or get some quick rewards from the wolves den, but it's honestly gut wrenching to see you keep losing games cause you get paired with that 1 player that doesn't have recuperate on their hot bar.
Regardless of how some jobs are unbalanced and how much tweaking they need, every day I find myself craving pvp less and less because of this issue, I just lose motivation after like a couple games cause it doesn't seem to matter what I do in the end it'll be fruitless. I love Crystaline conflict, otherwise I wouldn't have over 10k games in it, I just wish ranked was more active or the devs would look into how to balance things more for casual matchmaking, but the lack of attention pvp has gotten over the few months doesn't make me very hopeful.
