Can you get banned for using party finder in the wrong catalog , like you open a party finder under Duty Roulette but you are advertising for something else ( but they can't join the party because you put item level 999 ) i am asking that because someone did threat me with reporting me for that

I remember GMs using that as a reason for warnings/bans, but the context was they were advertising RMT using Duty Roulette, or over-18 events when it's a game that can be played by people who are 13 in certain regions.

Regardless, why not just use it properly?

I was using it to look for items that drop from quick exploration , and since Duty Roulette pop in the top of party finder , so it's in front of people eyes

in short yes, probably not for first offense, maybe a warning, but continued abuse will result any manner of punishment as the GMs see fit.

as for threats, thats not cool ether, also punishable, please report any dangerous threats at once, granted, telling someone they broke a rule and should correct it, not really a threat.

if you're worried then use the party finder for its intended purpose, use the "other" category for "other things."

you share the game with others, please be as respectful to them as you would want them to be to you.

Yeah tried that , but the result was lack of responds , since it go way down in list of party finder.

honestly best bet is join one of the community discords for your data center or even the balance discord and search there, they generally have a buying and selling tab for this kind of thing, plus you dont have to be tied up in party finder waiting all day.

This is exactly why they started cracking down on using Party Finder correctly. Because everyone was saying "I want my listing seen at the top." Which essentially made that category useless.

So yes, it's a reportable offense to abuse that.
