Separate Materia Tab

I know this has been brought up but I was wondering if there was any official word on implementing this. It sucks finding the room for all this because within Tier 3 and Tier 4 there can be 8 different variations. And as a BLM I utilize Hells' Fist, Hells' Eye, Sagacious Might, Intelligence, and Touch of Serenity. Saving the materia until I have enough for several double meld attempts (the more you do the more likely you are to succeed) would easily cost me 30 inventory slots. I have another account which eases the burden but others playing multiple classes using mostly materia gear (with AF pieces in storage) have it tougher. Another reason for it to have its own separate tab would be for it to be organized from say lowest Tier 4 value to highest Tier 4 value, etc.

I would love to hear from a dev even if the answer is a flat out no. It just helps to plan and organize.

Tl;dr I want a separate materia tab yo.

I ended up using one retainer just to hold materia (since I am concerend with more than just a few types of materia). And saving them up so I can try out 3x melds. I would love a better/more organized system, but that was the best I could come up with so far.

I believe they commented on this and the answer was essentially for sure nope in current version, nothing specific about 2.0 though.

I have pretty much a full retainer of materia...most I don't have any use for or I cannot sell efficiently. I would fully support this.

Selling shouldn't be a problem if you undercut. Unless you trying to sell materia no one wants like orange colored materia. Those can be saved for turning in materia'ed gear for hamlet, hence all the more reason for a separate tab.

Well yeah, but there lies the problem. I do so much spiritbonding, I have a ton of gil, and selling those low lvl materias for cheap isn't worth it because I'm usually selling other stuff. Maybe the problem runs deeper...I think I have MND Materia IIx1000 lol

How can you npc something as rare as a Mind Materia II????? I would sooner npc a relic weapon.
