Savage tier unlock

If there’s already a thread for it, do lmk, I tried searching keywords and didn’t find one.

I’m making this thread because I think Anabaseios savage tier’s loot has been locked for too long. It’s been a little over 8 months since savage dropped and it’s still locked.

I know the tier unlocks are based on patch numbers and not time elapsed, but I feel that, with the patches being longer now, they should have adjusted when they unlock the tier. I think 8 months is too long. They could have unlocked savage loot with 6.55 patch.

I wanted to know what others think of it and I share my thoughts in hope SE sees this.

There's been multiple threads made on the subject but it loses traction pretty quickly since its been beaten to death in the past.
From what I recall on previous threads, most would agree. The restrictions are kept wayyyyyy too long.
Here's hoping SE change this one day.

The restrictions are kept in place way to long. I do realize however that this is a marketing strategy. They are waiting deliberately until we're closer to 7.0's release when we're at the peak of people resubbing for that new expansion hype. Intentionally keep the game feeling stale now so that the game seemingly looks active later and the returning players can get into parties. In theory, if they unlocked Savage earlier, the game would be less active for the returning players when they come back.

Everything SE does is always related to bringing people back to the game and this is their last move before the expansion drops.
