RP shout ads are obstructive to chat and gameplay

Dynamis has been in discussion a lot through this thread. Why you are acting like this is new is strange to me. I mean you had multiple discussions with people where they used dynamis as an example and never once did you say you played on another DC (until recently).
Also if you're stalking people to see if they get banned or not, I'd recommend stepping away from this. That level of obsession cannot be healthy.

I still doubt the intent behind this thread. And any goodwill was lost on page 1 already making gross generalizations about venues, and conflating them with nightclubs and whatever gil extortion venue there is.

To find a solution that makes everything better and easier for everyone, and by extension making more enjoyable for everyone. So senseless arguments like the ones deleted from this thread never have to happen again. I suppose now's a good time to tell you that my FC mansion is actually a venue and they don't rely on shout ads at all, as they see it as obnoxious to spam the chat like so many others do. They use discord and other places to advertise and they're constantly at max capacity when they're open.

People who make things up and ignore the point of the subject in their arguments and make personal attacks while derailing a thread with every comment they make are trolls. This isn't a place to come and argue or be condescending to others for trying to seek improvement and solutions , and I don't think you've made a single helpful comment on this entire thread so why don't you just find something better to do

Hier mein heutiger Vorschlag: Wie wäre es (vielleicht in der nächsten Erweiterung) mit einem „Begleiter-Sammler“...also ein NPC der sich vorgenommen hat ALLE Begleiter zu bekommen. Ähnlich wie Khloe könnte er uns wöchentliche Aufgaben geben, bestimmte Begleiter bei ihm abzugeben. Hierfür bekommen wir dann (nicht handelbares) Zeug...eventuell Notenrollen, Kostüme oder andere einzigartige Begleiter, oder auch irgendwelche Ticket, die wir sammeln müssen, um eben Kostüme, Notenrollen...zu bekommen. Aktuell sind die Preise sowas von inflationär, dass es eigentlich gar keinen Sinn mehr macht, die zu farmen! Was soll ich sonst in FFIV machen?

Für den Anfang würde es vermutlich helfen, wenn du nicht in Deutsch ins englische Forum schreibst, da werden dich nicht viele verstehen.
Abgesehen davon: Schau dir an, wie die Foren heißen, geh in ein Unterforum, was passend erscheint (zum Beispiel Deutsches Forum -> Spielsystem -> Gegenstände wär so meine erstbeste Vermutung) und dann klick oben links auf den großen Button "Thema Erstellen". Wenn der Button nicht da ist, dann bist du noch nicht im Unterforum selbst drin, nur in der Kategorienliste, da kann man nix posten. Und um zu sehen, wer geantwortet hat, kannst du oben rechts ins Benutzerkontrollzentrum gehen, oder direkt ins Thema selbst.

Komplett fremde Themen zu kapern wird dir höchstens irgendwann ne Meldung wegen Spam einfangen, und die richtigen Leute, die es interessieren könnte, sehen es da sowieso nicht.

Congratulations on your success in a video game, although now this is reading to me more like a superiority thing just because you claim you don't use shout ads lol. Really off-putting.
I also find it a bit confusing that you're getting mad about venue spam when you're running a venue yourself and apparently do all of your advertising over Discord. If it doesn't affect your ability to pull in customers, what does it matter? Just glance at it and move on lol.
Obviously the outright perverted ones are a problem, no one is denying that, but I don't get the logic of getting upset about general spam if it doesn't affect your business. You could easily just turn shout off in main cities temporarily while you're there since you don't appear to use it? (unless you do just sit in Limsa all day like others have claimed in which case...idk what to tell you as someone who actually moves through the open world rather than just idling in main cities).

I'd also think you'd want to help raise other venues up and work with others so that the community you're a part of can thrive even more, rather than tear them down in a public thread that anyone can read, but that's just me.

As far as not making useful contributions: I'm down for an RP tab so people can put their ads there, one that is separate from Other. Therefore, people who want to see it can just tab over and people who want to use Other for reasons other than advertising venues (crafting/gathering jobs, art commissions, whatever other fluff things that don't constitute as venue ads) can still use it for that.

As far as the spam goes, I don't have one for that because it doesn't really bother me to the extent it does others but I also don't think Square necessarily cares either. You can report people all you like and they'll still be there the next day or the venues will just hire new shout-runners and it continues. The way I see it, they'd have to start babysitting every venue and monitor their communications to see any kind of change and they absolutely don't have the staff for that lol (especially since new venues sprout up every day).

At some point, you have to kind of make choices for yourself (turning off shout, not going into main cities unless you're buying something, etc.) if it really affects your experience to the point of getting actually mad about it and you don't want to just outright quit the game.

No one has Square on speed-dial to get things changed and even if someone passes this suggestion to them, they might not even implement it until the next expansion after Dawntrail (if they already have their "cup" full of content/changes approved and in the works for DT). So, do you really want to spend the next 6m+ angry in the forums about shout ads or do you want to find a compromise that makes your experience better on your own in the meantime?

You misunderstood, I don't run a venue. My FC leader runs it, the estate is a venue. I already went over turning off shout chat and how it's not a reasonable solution. Chat flooding in as obstruction and it's annoying, there's no reason people should have to jump through hoops or miss out on things because people are obnoxious , it's that simple. As far as "try leaving limsa" ... Those types of comments aren't even worth replying to, especially when they come from trolls who have done nothing but derail this thread as much as possible, as if they're threatened by this post or simply being spiteful because they chose to blow something out of proportion to use an excuse to act offended and malicious. Their time is borrowed, so it's whatever. Though maybe I should just sit in town and report every single one of them every single time til se gets fed up with it (sarcasm)
I don't wanna see people getting suspended or anything over it. Just be decent people and not spam the chat, it's not a complicated thing. It's not unreasonable to wish for that either. And I don't understand the motives of the people who come here (not you) to do nothing but attack me and behave in a manner that only embarrassed them and made a fool of themselves. As for the superiority aspect, it's just an example of why it's unnecessary to spam chat as my FC venue is able to operate without any issue without bothering thousands of players

1. I don't think I really derailed it from my knowledge, you were complaining about shout spam and how you didn't want to worry about your child. I have kept it on topic as far as I'm aware of by offering solutions for how to mitigate the problem until Square decides to do something about it (turn off shout, leave main cities unless you have to be there, find a different game to play with your daughter than is more age appropriate, etc.) and by being realistic about how much they actually seem to care about RP spam (They don't, I've also been part of the group reporting people for having overly-sexual PFs and the same people are still doing it now years later). Apologies if the recommendations aren't to your liking but that's just what we as the playerbase are left with unless they actually do something about it.

2. In relation to what I underlined, maybe you should so you can understand it as well that handling RP ads, bots, RMT, etc. is very low priority compared to banning people for offering advice in dungeons.

3. If you really don't want to leave Limsa then fair enough, just do what you gotta do to make it okay for you to be there lol (i.e. turn off shout). If this is really such a massive deal to you as well (since you took the time to make a thread on here), then at the very least you should do something to remove the issue for yourself. Sitting and not doing anything except waiting for the devs to do something and arguing with people on here isn't going to remove the issue for you. As I said, do you really want to spend the next 6m+ arguing over shout ads in the forum or do you want to spend the next 6m+ enjoying the game you're paying for by taking away the stressor (shout chat)? Personally, the latter seems like a more efficient use of my time.

4. To the shout runners, one ad per hour is not spam. I also wouldn't constitute one ad per hour from the same person as spam. From my knowledge, shout runners go to each server and post an ad in the main cities and move on (so you're really only seeing one unless you want to follow them around while they do it). It's the fact that there are dozens of venues going at the same time doing it which is the spam effect people are seeing. Reporting the one person for spam isn't going to go anywhere because they aren't technically spamming by doing one ad in Limsa and then leaving to do it in another zone, you'd have to somehow group all of the venues together in a report and say that all of these venues are posting an ad at the same time and creating a spam effect (PF ads being the obvious exception since you'll see 4 ads for the same place at once which is actually annoying but again, dunno if they'd count it as spam since it's one person per ad).

So what do you want Square to do exactly? Put in a timer that limits messages in general across the entire game (I.e. Person A posts a message and then has to wait 30-60 seconds before sending another)? Put in an automatic bot that scans for certain words and has a 50/50 chance of banning you for something that isn't even rule breaking (Speaking from personal experience, I got temp banned from a military game a few years back by an auto bot for saying the word "training"...in a war game....where you train people to play the game....)?
