Just give us background and source material to work with. I'm talking ring engraving abilities for Goldsmiths, wedding dress, tuxedo, formal dress, formal suit recipies for tailors, Lodestone articles explaining how weddings are run in the three nations (+ Ishgard, too), different types of weddings vows (based on weapon type or job like FFXI does) and so on.

I've attended plenty of weddings in WoW (of all kinds), and it's worked like a charm so...why not here as well? I mean, who knows? It might even give birth to a "Bridezillas: FFXIV Edition" machinima video somewhere down the line.
This is a fine idea if SE can not or will not include all desired coupling. Allow they players to run the shows and give them the tools and resources to make it happen. Add an church organ and allow a player to manipulate it. Give crafters a hand in facilitating the items. Including Western and Eastern theme marriage items.

Also add some "effects" control box to have someone supply graphical effetcs during the wedding. And perhaps supply some 2 person Emotes capable of being used in the cathedral.

If there are enough ways and options for players to team up and supply an ecellent wedding you may soon see...
