The community only has itself to blame for the system being a pain to work with. Originally you could do pretty much whatever you wanted, so naturally a number of people made porn portraits. Now restrictions are in place to prevent that from happening with the unfortunate side effect of instances like the OP's image.

Or they could just revert to the prior way that seemed to just work and if people want to have lewd portraits, well, so what? Mass murder, suicide, suggested SA, suggestive glam, exotic dancers etc etc all ok! Lewd player portraits??? oh, hell no!

Is it any different? Who really cares? You only see the adventure plate if you click on someone and look at them. You can disable portraits if you dont want to ever see anything suggestive. I just dont see how adventure plate/portrait lewdness is so so much worse than actual story themes or players glamming themselves to look as sexy as they can.

It's not. People just wanna complain to complain. The fact that they have to opt out of seeing portraits is one step too much, so it's easier to just complain about it. *shrugs*
