    Cure 2 heal 60% more than Cure 1, but cost 2.5 time more.

    If you are forced to use Cure 1 at high level, then there is clearly something wrong in what you do to maintain the tank or the party. You'll have to cast 2 Cure 1 in order to outheal what Cure 2 can do. We also know that mana isn't really an issue considering how much you can get from Free heal on a White Mage.

    Also, Cure 2 is technically faster because you heal more in 2.5 sec than what you will ever do with Cure 1 and I've never encountered a situation where you are forced to just spam Cure 2 endlessly with no hope of MP regen.

    What they can do tho, is reduce slightly how much it heals, reduce slightly the cost, and keep the % chance effect on those heals, in order to encourage healer to actually use their kit instead of just spamming Cure.

    If Cure II will overheal your target, that means it's just better to throw a Stone/Glare or two before actually casting Cure II?

    If Cure II will overheal your target, that means it's just better to use Divine Benison/Tetragrammaton/wait for Assize instead?

    Cure I have absolutely no reason to exist outside pre-lv30 and maybe MINE Coils. Or... lol, playing double CNJ in some lv70+ encounters (I remember running out of MP relying on Cure II on a meme all basic class run in Innocence).

    EDIT: Even casting Medica II when your Cure II would've otherwise overheal in that very GCD would've been more beneficial vs using Cure I most of time, as much as I'd hate to admit it. A weaker upfront healing than Cure I, you wouldn't overheal your intended target. You don't need to target either. The rest of the potency are backloaded to the 15s HoT of which, if you're using this to heal your tank, they rarely get wasted so long they're in the middle of taking some beating. You will of course overheal the rest of the party, but do we really still care about overhealing with AoE tools nowadays when there are too many instances of using AoE heal in order to top 1-2 players from 4/8 existing members? (All Healers assisting w2w tools rotation would like to raise their hand i.e. using Whispering Dawn/Sacred Soil/Earthly Star, etc)
