That triple triad is not unlocked for ARR playersMinimog is same for everyone, but considering its multiple options I imagine, every week will have option available at lvl 30 (which seems to be level most 'everyone-acessible' content is generally graded at). The idea being that everyone will always have at least one option they can access, but it still encourages a variety of content for people who have access to such variety. That's why there was a Triple Triad for Western Thanalan of all places as an option.
Yeah, I have an alt chaarcter in the low 50's still in ARR patch MSQ, and their weekly challenge was a Shadowbringers raid. Granted, there's way less optional content available at that level range and there's no way they'll put Coils of Bahamut into this event. But they could have tossed in a level 50 Hard dungeon or primal fight, at least for a one-time weekly challenge.
It was easy enough to get the Minimog card match done though. I appreciate having an alternative option for that one.
Fufulupa? I mean, you have to finish a level 17 MSQ first, and he has a very short side quest you have to do first (it literally takes like half a minute). Then he should give the option to play Triple Triad.
According to online resources, it's available as soon as you've done:
- "A Wild Rose by Any Other Name", which is a level 17 ARR main scenario quest
- "By the Toe", a level 10 quest with no prerequisite to complete
- unlocked Triple Triad, which can be done by unlocking and traveling to the Gold Saucer once you've finished the "[City State] Envoy" level 15 main scenario quest
Seems like it's unlockable for ARR players, unless there's some big prerequisite I've missed somewhere.
I'm currently in the process of working my way through HW, and *cannot* interact with the NPC for TT for last week. I'm pretty sure he's gatekept by being in HW, though that's never stated anywhere I can find. I *do* have TT unlocked, so I can't imagine any other reasons he won't play cards with meMaybe he just thinks my bun bun is stinky?
Yeah, I have no idea what else it could be. I've got characters in ARR (2.0 and 2.x) and in Stormblood that are able to do it just fine, once they've unlocked Triple Triad vs NPCs by doing the tutorial match.I'm currently in the process of working my way through HW, and *cannot* interact with the NPC for TT for last week. This week my ARR character has Level 80 Raid.
(Both of them, actually.)
Aaaaaaaaauuuuuuuugh.
Controversial, but, I'd rather have players complaining about things they can't access yet, vs players complaining that they want the easy tomes that low level players get.
"Wahh, Eden?? Why can't we all just get Thornmarch and call it a day?"
bruh i got world of darkness two weeks in a row ;_;
i really wish something were in place to stop this from happening
I could not access it on 3 low level characters ranging from level 40-49. Yes they have triple triad unlocked. I had The Porta Decumana. Meanwhile my free trial sprout friend got E12.Yeah, I have an alt chaarcter in the low 50's still in ARR patch MSQ, and their weekly challenge was a Shadowbringers raid.
